Kitten sutures came out pls help?

My kitten got spayed on Monday this week. Today (saturday) the bottom half of her sutures came out. It isn't bleeding but it's definately open and the edges are bright pink while the top half looks healing and closed. I sprayed Curad invisible spray bandage over it to hold her until the vet opens Monday and that seemed to cause her pain :( Any advice please what should I do
Answers:
call your local emergency vet and BE CAREFUL before using anything made for humans on your cats. some things that are safe for us are not safe for them. but there should be a 24 hour vet some where around you. and try if it's possible to keep her quiet so she doesn't loose any more.
relax, though cats are very resilant
Don鈥檛 spray things at cats cause its really rude.
it's probably ok, keep her quiet if you can. Call Vet , you'll get an answering service and the vet should call you back.but I wouldn't put curad on her.it probably hurt. The main thing is that it's not bleeding..
I would call an emergency vet hospital open 24/7
It's healing but could be infected. Is she chewing or licking it a lot? That probably means it itches, which probably means it's infected. Your vet can tell you for sure.
My dog licked her stitches out 2 days after she was spayed and the vet told me that she'd probably just do it again if he re-did them so he had me get some COBAN wrap(kinda like an ace wrap that sticks to itself) and gauze squares big enough to cover the wound and put neosporin on it and just wrapped it up. I'd reccommend doing that--it least until you can ask your vets advice. Plus this will prevent her from licking at it and making it bleed or get infected. Change it every day, but don't put it on so tight she can't breathe. Good Luck!
I can see how Curad would sting and hurt in an open wound - at least until it dried. Does she still seem to be in pain?

Please make sure and take her Monday.
I've had a similar situation with one of mine.

I was told that it looks worse than it may be. That there is also another layer of suturing inside the abdomen beneath the surface suturing, but definitely something not to take lightly.

My opinion on the Curad invisible spray bandage is that it may trap unwanted bacteria. Because of that, keep watchful for anything that looks like redness setting in which could mean infection .

Also the presence of the invisible spray could annoy kitty enough to cause her to chew at the site, which would not be a good thing either. Her discomfort with the spray was probably due to the alcohol content on exposed tissue. Ouchy.

I assume your vet has discharged her with antibiotic which should protect her somewhat from infection.

Be watchful is the best advice. Your vet office should have an answering machine during off hours to direct you for help if needed. If not, when in doubt, visit the em clinic for an expert visual check and assurance. If you were not given antibiotic at discharge, now would be a good time to ask for some.
Use a little duct tape on it-unless you have some medical tape?
