Kittens. How old before they open their eyes.?

Its about 10 to 12 days before they start to open, they may take a day or two to open fully though.

ok these people are wayyyyy off. kittens %26#92;start takin their first steps around weekages. they usually open there eyes after a day or two. but if its longer than 3 than ther is a problem and they need to go to a vet

It all depends on how long the kitties were baked. we have had quite a few litters, as we rescue a lot of cats, some pregnant, and bring them home to rehome them (the ones that we can bear rehoming that is lol)
Kittens usually start opening their eyes within 3 to 4 days, although we had one litter of 4 kittens that were waaaaay oversize and the first born had her eyes open within 2 days.
We are also proud to state that one of our babies was born with her eyes open! Yes, everyone thought we were lying, but when we asked around, we were told she wouldnt make it, that none of the vets we spoke to knew of any cases where a kitten born like this had either survived, or wasnt blind. But Iza (as we named her, easier than eyes are open hehe) is a happy healthy little girl, she can see perfectly fine, despite the fact that her eyes are just slightly odd shaped. She is our special little lady tho, and just as pretty as the rest! :)
