Kitty potty Training?

I have a 3 year old cat and she decided she doesnt want to use her buddy Jacks litterbox or her own anymore so now shes pooing all over the house. Is there a way to train her to use the litter box again?
Answers:
You could:
-make sure she has her own box that is large enough
-make sure the box is scooped EVERYday
-make sure that the litter is UNscented
-switch to a non-clay litter like paper (Yesterday's News) or cedar absorbant (Feline Pine or ExquisiPine-PetSmart's brand)
-make sure her box is nowhere near the other cat's box
-take her to her veterinarian because a litterbox behavior change can easily denote her way of getting your attention to tell you something is medically wrong with her
-try to toilet train her if she's okay at the vet
Are you keeping the litter box clean? Is it big enough for two cats? Put her food where she is peeing and pooing and also, take her to the vet to see wether or not she has a urinary tract infection. Cats as a norm will not pee or poop where their food is. Her behavior could very well be caused by a health problem. Also she could be mad at you for something you did that she didn't like and this is her revenge. Trust me this has happened to me to over the years and for all the reasons stated above at one time or another.
It could be that she is not using it anymore because it isn't being cleaned enough. Try cleaning it more often. I hope that helps.
one thing you can do is make sure the litter-box is cleaned every day, also have your vet check him out, he might have a urinary tract infection or belly problems. good luck
Ok you say that the cat is three years old? She should already be liter trained. My cats trained themselves. You need to wash the litterbox with bleach and hot water, Then go to petsmart or pet co or any store and try tidy cat crystles my cats love that. She could also have an underlying health issue. Is she utd on shots? Cats can get sick and can sometimes get kidney infections that would cause accidents around the house my cat had a kidney infection and wouldnt use her litterbox, Also check for parasights aka worms in the stool. I used to be a vet tec. And i am a cat lover.
Another thing to remember, just like humans, cats don't want to go potty in front of the world.
Make sure that the litter 'tray' is tucked away for peace %26 quiet. But if you have a litter 'box' all you really need is a very low traffic area.
Hey she could just want her very own potty-why not?
I hope this helps . . . I smell your pain I had 12 cats and 5 kittens Ahhhhhhh
try potty training her..using ur toilet.did u clean out her litter box? it might be the litter
