Hi Lisa.sometimes cats may be allergic to foods which contain the ingredient corn, corn meal. Consider gradually switching her to a formula which is devoid of these ingredients. Most of the commercial cat food from grocery stores and major pet store chains have corn or corn meal listed as the primary ingredient (e.g. IAMS, Science Diet, Purina, Whiskas, Friskies, etc). Premium products such as Innova EVO, Nature's Variety Prairie, Wellness, California Natural, Felidae. all these brands avoid these ingredients and are higher in protein all can be found in specialty pet food stores or online. The advantages of these products is you can also feed less of serving as the cat will feel less hungry because it doesn't contain the corn fillers which always makes cats feel hungry. Here's an article that explains this in much better detail: http://www.consumersearch.com/www/family.

When you do decide to switch food products it shouldn't be done SUDDENLY as this will cause further severe bowel disturbances. The change must be done over a course of several weeks. For example.3/4 old food mixed with 1/4 new food for one week.1/2 to 1/2 the next week, 1/4 old to 3/4 new for another week and then the final week can be switched completely. Your vet can confirm the fact that sudden diet changes will cause diarrhoea in all pet animals.

Contrary to what people believe canned food is helpful for cats with diarrhoea as this is a symptomatic of dehydration. Canned diets can supplement the intake of moisture so having both dry and canned are helpful. Any vet can confirm this fact.

Canned pumpkin (without spices) will also help firm up the loose stool symptoms: http://www.pets.ca/pettips/tips-75.htm.

Female cats can become pregnant as early as 4/5 months. If she hasn't been spayed and goes outdoors there's a good possibility she could be pregnant. Your vet can verify this as well.
you need to see another vet cuz diarrhea for over a month is NOT normal

as for the pregnant look, perhaps she has a blockage or something causing swelling
Sounds like worms, maybe whip worms. De-worm her.
For the diarrhea try changing her food. For being pregnant..I'd ask the vet right away..I believe they can become pregnant anytime they are in heat which usually starts 4-6 months.
Your kitten is totally normal. The diarrhea is most likely due to the type of food you are giving her. She is old enough for adult formula, try that and limit the 'wet' food. Only a spoonful of 'wet' food and use that as a treat, not everyday feedings. The swelling belly, if she is an outdoor cat than..yes, you will be a grandma soon. A kitten can go into heat at 2 1/2 months. My advice, don't let your cat out of the house, EVER! House cats live longer, you don't have to deal with fleas or expensive meds, your cat can't get feline AIDS, ect. Think about keeping her in the house, okay?
For diahrea get another vet. If its happening for over a month its not good. Or you could try another brand of food. For looking pregnant cats can get in heat in about 5 months old. Another heed of advice. Dont let your cat out the house. Cats who go out the house ussually get sicker, and pick up alot of things from other animals, and other cats, and sadly some people in this world are so heartless that they'll harm cats for no reason.
If the vet has found no medical cause for the diarrhea, I would try her on a different food. It could be that the current food upsets her digestive system. Switch to a new food slowly, gradually adding it to the old food; sudden food switches can cause diarrhea, and you don't want to make her problem worse. I suggest going with the highest quality food you can afford (and conveniently find in your area). At grocery stores, Iams is usually the best you can get. It's good food, but there are much better ones out there--look for Nutromax, Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul, Wellness, Sensible Choice, Royal Canin, or Innova (I feed my cats Innova's Evo food--it has no grains, and is closest to a cat's "natural" diet).

A pot-belly appearance could certainly be caused by parasites (worms), and parasites can cause diarrhea as well. You could wait a couple of weeks, since she was just wormed, to see if the diarrhea clears. If it doesn't, definitely try another food.

Cats can get pregnant as young as four months--I volunteer with a shelter, and I've seen it happen (or rather, we've found pregnant cats that don't have their adult teeth yet--those teeth come in at 6 months of age). If your kitten isn't spayed yet, definitely keep her indoors until you have the surgery done.
My cat had diahrea and he is only eight months old.
my vet said to give him only baby food. I gave him Gerber chicken only. make sure it does not contain any onions. I gave him 3 jars a day. One in the morning, one in the late afternoon and one in the late evening, by day 3 his diahrea was gone.
Also she might have an infection that can be causing the swelling in the abdomen wich might make her look pregnant. Definetly get a new vet.
Seven months is old enough to be pregnant.

Chronic diahrrea is likely to be a dietary problem. You may find the solution here:
