My 2 month old kitten wets the duvet every morning. I have dry cleaned my duvet on numerous occasions and sprayed it with odour eliminator which contains citrus zest but she keeps on wetting the duvet. She does not do this in any other part of the house. I have also sprayed my duvet with felliway but the no avail. Can anyone help me on this matter..

Hi Rowena.sometimes when cats inappropriately soil in areas other than the litterbox it is indicative of a medical problem. If she's constipated or has a urinary infection of one type or another this cause litterbox avoidance. When cats are using the litterbox and experience pain while going to the bathroom they associate the pain with the litterbox thereby believing by going elsewhere will feel better. Consider ringing your vet to discuss an appointment for an evaluation.
Additionally, if there's been a recent change of location of the litterbox, change of litter brand, new changes in the home, new pets added, multiple cats competing for the litterbox, not cleaning the box more frequently, box is too small, litterbox is uncovered or it's not covered (some cats prefer one over the other).all of these and other associated possibilities will also cause litterbox avoidance behaviours as well.

[edit] litterbox avoidance isn't always the case as each cat is different. We currently have a cat who always used his litterbox with a rare accident even though he was diagnosed with an urinary tract infection.
That is disgusting to sleep on a duvet that is urine stained. Even if you spray it. Yuck. Keep the cat off of the bed. If it does it again, rub its nose in it..spank its butt and throw it in the kitty litter box.
do not let it on the bed, keep it in the bath room durring sleep time
spray it with biological soap and it will maybe never do its business on your bed ever again
try putting a litter tray in your room or banish the kitten from your room
ITS VERE NORMAL FOR THE KITTEN TO DO THAT.
You really shouldn't take a kitten to your bed, This is just one reason - These animals have become domesticated for people to keep as pets but when it is old enough it really should stay outdoors as much as it does indoors. Cats are independent,and like it that way - No offence to you personally but really Why let it on your duvet? Don't treat animals like toys or pamper them it doesn't do them any good and you'll set yourself up for lots of problems in the future.
Erm, stop it sleeping on your bed! Keep it downstairs at night with a litter tray, until it is house trained. If it were me though and it started mewing I would go and get it, but be strong and dont give into mews.

I hate to say it, but you really need to get a new duvet. Had the same problem with part of our sofa when our kittens were 'new'.
One of them kept going into the sitting room and weeing on one side of the sofa. We tried everything, including locking them out of the sitting room when we were out.
Eventually, we got a new seat cushion for that part of the sofa. and still keep them out of there during the day, but it hasnt happened since. Doesnt matter what you do, they still know the place and smell - no matter what. Also duvets are special favourites of kittens, apparently, because they can 'pad' them easily (clawing up and down, pulling at the duvet), which they like to do.
Best advice, get a new duvet and spray the entire bed, mattress etc and get your covers and sheets cleaned on the hottest setting they can take. Also, if you have one (or can borrow) get a UV light, which will show where all the pee is - it maybe you havent got it all from the bed (as I said, mattress etc)
