Missing cat since Sunday. Solutions on getting her back.Philadelphia?

I was gonna pick her up and adopt her, the lady put her on the porch 4 a neighbor 2 house her since she had 2 many cats and the cat either got away b-4 the neighbor could get her or sum1 picked her up.I will go 2 the extremes 2 get her. what do you think is likely that happened. if she's frightened and skitish how do I get her 2 feel safe enough 2 come 2 me. if sum1 has her and wants to keep her will a $200 or more reward help them want 2 give her up 2 me? The lady said the person who gave her the cat( another neighbor) had told her she has had all her shots and was nutered( so is she is she wouldn't be trying 2 have sex) she's mostly an indoor cat and doesn't wonder past the front porch, her neighbor was right next door. She does live in the city but in a residental area with row houses or simular 2 that so it's not a busy road.lady said she thinks sum1 took her in cuz the one time she escaped her house she came back later that day. how 2 make her safe is she's scared, 2 get n carrier

Cats sometimes do this, they can wander off for days.

The most likely thing is that eventually she will return to the house where she was living. Ask the lady to let you know as soon as she comes back.

One of my 3 cats disappeared for 49 days - One evening he turned up in the garden for his dinner as if nothing had happened.

If someone has taken her, let's hope it's a good home - posting a reward is probably not a good idea as she never really became yours. Why don't you adopt another poor cat who is urgently in need of a loving home if she doesn't come back?

Good luck

I would put posters around with a picture if you can, and then include reward money if you want to, check all your neighbors garages and back gardens, obviously with permission, if your cat doesn't usually go far chances are he has hidden himself! My friend found her cat after 2 weeks, he was in a neighbors shed only a block away! Good luck mate!
