looking for a product that kills fleas.Famous Bug b-gone ?

I have used Hartz Foggers twice, and still have fleas in the house.

I have had the flea problem before (four cats and a dog inside), and I will tell you what my vet told me - and it worked! It isn't an overnight cure, but it sure works better than anything else. Get either advantage or frontline to put on your pets. Then, spray all of your upholstery with any flea killer that makes the flea infertile (the best ones are at like PetSmart).let it set for about 30 minutes, and then vacuum it WELL.here is the tricky part. Don't empty the vacuum inside the house.take it outside and put it in the trash, because you have just vacuumed up dead fleas and live eggs. Then, spray and wash pet bedding.your bedding.anywhere the animals sleep. If you have carpet, spray and vacuum. But most people make the mistake of either emptying the vacuum inside, or they don't do everything the animal has been on. Okay.for the bad part - you won't be able to get all of them, no matter what you do. That is why this isn't an overnight cure.however, the life cycle of the flea is only a matter of days - and during that time, they bite the animals, which makes sure that the little buggers can't reproduce. Within about a week, your problem will be solved. Oh, and for the future - just remember to put the advantage or frontline on before flea season (depending on where you live) and it won't be a problem again.

The foggers only kill the adults, so it's necessary to do it several times to get them all.

A better way is to use a chemical that you can spray the furniture and rugs..something that has a little residual killing power. A pest company can do it for you if you don't feel comfortable with that.

3/4 oz malathion }

Remove all pets and kids.Spray all rugs and horizontal fabrics (sofas, chairs, etc).Stay out of the house for 4 hours.when you return, air out the house VERY well. Repeat after 10 days.
